Halloween Workout Ideas

Halloween is a great day to get a spooky good workout in! It can be a stressful day for some, so why not burn off some calories, and gain some endorphins! This Halloween-esque workout will get your heart pumping and the sweat pouring. Grab a friend, a relative or a Kaia sister or all the above, and get this workout done in a park, a backyard, or in your home! You will need a yoga mat, a set of dumbbells, water and a pumpkin (a kettle bell or handbag will also work). Have a blast getting your sweat on!

 

Warm Up

Perform Each Exercise for 30 seconds each and then repeat at 45 seconds each.

Frankenstein Walk (Walking Monster Kicks)

Fast Feet

Soaring Witch (Curtsy Lunges)

High knees

Bound Mummy (Eagle Pose)

Bun Kickers

 

PUMPKIN RUN 100 M (WEIGHTED RUN 100 M)

AMRAP-10-12 MINUTES- REPEAT AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE.

You will need a set of medium-heavy dumbbells.

10 PUSH UPS

31 JUMPING JACKS

10 PLANK JACKS

31 SQUAT HOPS

10 HEARTBEATS

31 1-2 STICK

10 BICEP CURLS

31 RUSSIAN DANCE 2=1

10 TRICEP KICKBACKS

31 FRONT KICKS

 

PUMPKIN RUN 100 M (WEIGHTED RUN 100 M)

SCARY LOTTA TABATA

PERFORM EACH EXERCISE 20 SECONDS ON 10 SECOND REST 6 TOTAL TIMES, SO 3 MINS EACH SET.

1. SKULL CRUSHERS

2. DEAD LIFTS

3. PUMPKIN HOP OVERS (LATERAL HOPS OVER WEIGHT OR PUMPKIN)

4. SUPERWOMANS

5. PASS THE PUMPKIN (RUSSIAN TWISTS)

6. PUMPKIN PICKERS (SQUAT & PRESS)

 

PUMPKIN RUN 100 M (WEIGHTED RUN 100 M)

BOOTY-TACULAR FINISHER

30 SECONDS EACH EXERCISE REPEAT ON THE RIGHT SIDE THEN THE LEFT

BOO-TY PUMPERS

BOO-TY KICKS (DONKEY KICKS)

SIDE BOO-TY LIFTS (FIRE HYDRANTS)

LONG LEG BOO-TY LIFT & TAP

LONG LEG BOO-TY PULSES 

 

Finish with a cool down and some stretching! You made it!
